Fun Facts:

  • My two children have running-inspired names

  • My husband and I met on our university CC team and were married by our college coach

  • I have Celiac disease

Most Memorable Race:

My first marathon in 2013 in Chicago. It changed my life and connected me to this community.

Running Role Model:

Des Linden! I ran 2018 Boston and I remember someone calling out she won when I was midway through the Newton Hills. Such an inspiring day. I ran with her at a running store event years later and she was so humble, funny and laid back,

Fun Facts:

  • I completed the 6 world majors. Maybe someday I’ll catch up on the newly added ones, but I capped off my last one with a PR which made the accomplishment feel extra amazing.

  • I was born and raised in Chicago but moved to Knoxville, Tennessee 8 years ago. Often training in this terrain (mountain foothills) and humidity is humbling but I feel it’s made me grow immensely as a runner.

  • I have a husband, little boy, sweet hound dog and 2 sassy cats. Animals match humans by number in my house.

Running Role Model:

John Brassea. He has that special mindset that win or lose, I gave it my all, and I'm still getting hammered tonight.

Fun Facts:

  • I never wear pants in my house, unless there's company. Maybe.

  • I enjoy craft coffee, brew, whiskey, in that order.

  • I run with my two fur babies most days.
