Be a competitive masters runner

Most Memorable Run:

Nearing the 23-mile mark of the Derby Festival Marathon and seeing my mom, who at the time was undergoing chemo, standing out on the street cheering me on. Seeing her strength definitely carried me the last 3 miles.

Pre-Race Routine:

Sushi and hot shower the night before

Favorite Part of Running:

The last several minutes or so of a really good training run or race when you know you performed well
