I signed up for the 2015 Chicago Marathon through a charity team in dental school. Completing a marathon was a bucket list item and I guess you could say I was following a couch-to-marathon plan. I loved seeing my progress and felt a tremendous sense of accomplishment after crossing the finish line. Never looked back since.
Long-Term Running Goals:
My two main goals are on opposite sides of the distance spectrum. I want to run a sub-3:00 hr marathon to qualify for Boston and I want to run a sub-5:00 min mile.
Favorite Place to Run:
Iceland. The landscape and backdrops were incredible.
“If I could share a run with any runner, it would be…”:
Nick Symmonds. I like his positive attitude. He’s constantly reinventing himself and I think he would have some great stories to share.
