Boston Marathon 2019
I'm most proud of my 1500 PR as I placed as an NCAA All American. However, my recent Houston marathon was a 20 minute PR over the last marathon I did in 2004!
Motivation to Run:
Maintain health and stress relief but I am very goals-oriented and my drive is to continually improve!
Most Memorable Run:
It's a toss up between the 2 PRs I'm most proud of. In my collegiate 1500, the night before I had a dream of my race and visualized the full race. I came very close to the time and place in reality. It was very fulfilling! In my recent Houston marathon, the build up to race day was amazing. My body felt good, I had good feelings about the run, and the course, the people, and the motivation was huge. Almost 2 months later, I can still feel the runners high.
My Dad inspires me who was so strong and athletic through age 68 and this helped him survive a traumatic car accident 4 years ago.
