Long-Term Running Goals:
Sub-3 marathon; qualify for (and run) Boston; run fast, have fun & stay healthy!
Motivation to Run:
Running keeps me sane, gives me structure and stability, and is a source of daily meditation and joy.
Reward for a Good Race:
Micky D's chocolate milkshake all the way (Jeni's ice cream if I'm feeling bougie)
Motivation When Hurting During a Race or Workout:
My high school coach always told me you can do anything for 90 seconds *or 60 or 30 seconds. I apply that to whatever I'm doing and however long I'm doing it for. It's helped!
