For the past couple of years, my primary race focus has been sprint distance triathlons. This summer my focus is the Marathon distance.
Motivation to Run:
To keep my sanity. Running gives me the chance to forget about everything else that is going and focus on running.
My favorite running race that I have competed in the Cross Country Challenge. It is always fun running on trails, through mud, and creeks.
Long-Term Running Goal:
To be able to run when I reach the older age groups. Seeing people run well in the their 60s and 70s is always impressive to me.
Favorite Race Distance:
The shorter the race, the more I enjoy the race. Half Marathons are starting to become a good race. The distance is long enough to be a challenge but training for it does not take too much away from other aspects of life.
