Qualifying for the Olympic Trials at Grandma's Half 2015.

Long-Term Running Goals:

To be the best road marathon/mountain (uphill) running crossover runner out there. Run for the US in international competition. Place top 10 in a World Marathon Major.

Motivation to Run:

I think it's one of the best physical/mental combination activities that a human can engage in. It helps me to be a better person physically, mentally and ethically. It fosters my appreciation of the natural world. And I just love to move fast without the aid of machines.

"Running found me...":

Through my family. Grandfather was 1934 Big Ten 2M champ at Purdue. Father was accomplished 1500m runner in the 1970s (NCAA champion, ranked 9th in the world at one point in the 1500m).

Favorite Part of Being a DWRunner:

The quality of coaching and seeing the huge improvements through the group (as a result of the coaching...).
