Motivation to Run:
Growing up, I had asthma so I wasn't allowed to do much physical activity, let alone run. Then I realized that I just needed to run smart and listen to my body. Now running is about telling myself that I can do the things I thought weren't possible.

Peer pressure? After college, I did Teach for America in Oklahoma and all my friends ran at the time, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I ended up coming back to it whenever I had a long day or needed to decompress and it just stuck with me. Now it's how I clear my mind and my "me time".
