Running Start:

I was thrown into a 4x800 meter relay at a big invitational my freshman year in high school when a teammate got sick. I was so terrified of letting the seniors down, I cried my eyes out before the race....I took the baton and RAN FOR MY LIFE. We ended up crushing the track record and going downstate that year and I never stopped chasing the dream :)

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would love to run under 1:20 for the half and 2:50 for the full. Running 100% healthy and being able to be a good teammate are also top priority

Motivation to Run:

I run because of the high quality, authentic people it brings into my life. My running friends push me to be my best and understand me better than anyone. I run for the RUSH of racing!

A coffee shop in Wicker Park or Bucktown, on the elliptical, eating donuts or sipping wine
