I started running my junior year of high school as a sprinter on the track team. I continued sprinting through college and added the 400m hurdles to the mix. After taking 3 years off after college, I started distance running and have been going ever since.
Favorite Part of Running:
Running is the time of the day to clear my head and focus on my goal race.
I am most inspired by Deena Kastor and Meb. They are still competing at such a high caliber despite being "past their prime" according to experts.
