Half marathon and 10k
Probably my half marathon PR -- I was in the last few weeks of training for a marathon. The training cycle had gone really well, and I had planned on running the half marathon as a substitute for speedwork that week. Everything in the race just clicked and I ended up running a five minute PR.
Most Memorable Run:
My most memorable run was probably the Lake Wobegon Marathon because I qualified for Boston, which I had been trying to do for a couple of years.
Motivation While Hurting During a Race or Workout:
I try to really just focus on the mile I'm currently running. It helps me to break up the remainder of the race or workout, especially if I'm really struggling or tired.
Wish-List Travel Destination:
I really want to go to South Africa. Then, from there, I want to travel up to Tanzania and climb Kilimanjaro, which has been on my bucket list for awhile.
