Favorite Part of Running:

The incredible places and people I have encountered through running.

Most Memorable Run:

I had the privilege of guiding a visually impaired runner for the 2015 Boston Marathon. The plan was only to guide her for the first half, but the second guide did not show up and I ended up guiding her for the entire 26.2. Before that day I had never run longer than 15 miles! It was definitely a learning experience in "never say never"! To learn more about my experience, you can read my blog post.

"When Not Running, I Can Be Found...":

Either teaching yoga, recording a new Running On Om podcast, biking to a friend's house, creating a new smoothie recipe or singing in the shower.

Pre-Race Meal:

Oatmeal, a banana, scoop of Nuttzo and honey - not just my pre-race meal, my breakfast everyday!

What inspires me? My four G's: goals, grit, God and gratitude

Who inspires me? My paternal grandfather is my hero. He has faced extreme adversity, yet still maintains a positive, generous, open-minded and humble outlook.

Favorite Part of Being a DWRunner:

The man himself, Dan Walters. Dan is one of the most friendly, knowledgeable and passionate coaches and human beings I know. I feel honored to be working with him.
