 Marathon and half marathon

Long-Term Running Goals:

I’d love to run Boston! I qualified once, but did not make the cut in 2018 to run it. I’d love to crush 3:30 and get in!!! 

Pre-Race Routine:

I don’t have any superstitions. But for motivation, when I wake up, I think about how grateful I am to be able to race another marathon and how exciting it is to be able to do it alongside people who went through a similar journey of hard work. My mantra is “whatever happens, happens. I’ve put in the work to be here. I need to trust the process and just do my thing. Believe!!”

Favorite Workout:

The long run. Everything from the prep, execution, and aftermath of the long run.

“If I could run with anyone, I would run with…”:

Allie Kieffer - she’s truly an inspiration and a strong woman! She has defied odds of being told she’s too big or too muscular to run fast, something I have also been told as a former-hockey-player-turned-runner. Her determination and ability to not let those comments get to her is inspiring.
