Distance - the longer the better. I want to be the DW Ultra queen. But I’m coming for that sub 3 marathon too ;)
They all have such a special place in my heart. For the marathon distance Chicago and Boston have got to be mentioned and of course I love Napa. My first 50 mile race I will never forget up in Northern Wisconsin along an old railroad trail and it was just perfect.
Reward for a Good Race:
Time with my friends and family is my favorite place to be after a good race. I love a good strong beer, awesome vegan food and cookies.
I was so caught up in graduate studies and being a graduate assistant that I decided to start training for a half marathon to get outside and have another focus. I completed it and decided I wanted to go for the marathon and I have run Chicago every year since!

At Whole Foods, walking Teddy, working on my garden or sitting on the patio planning my race calendar :)

Too close to call - need to spend more time at both!
Tea or Coffee?:
Ginger turmeric tea! YESSSS! But I also loved an iced matcha latte with coconut milk :)
Early Bird or Night Owl?:
Early please, but there is definitely something about those summer nights.
Chocolate or Vanilla?:
hhhmmmm, vanilla! Unless it is a chocolate chip cookie or chocolate cake!
