The Marathon. The longer the better, but would love to PR in the shorter distances from the 5k to the half.
Long-Term Running Goals:
I want to qualify for the Olympic Trials in the marathon.
Grandma’s Marathon 2018. First race where I negative split, set a PR, and finished feeling really strong. Overcame a lot of self doubt that season, and the result gave me more confidence moving forward into the next few training blocks.
Favorite Part of Running:
The running community, the support is amazing. Getting to travel to races across the country, or around the world. The feeling of accomplishment each day when you see gradual improvements, it makes me excited to get out there every day and be the best version of myself.
Reward for a Good Race:
A sweet treat, anything with chocolate and peanut butter!
