Most Memorable PR:
My PR at the Indy Monumental Marathon. It was the first race that I went into with structured training and a solid race plan that was able to be executed exactly as planned. It is a PR that was earned and fought for every mile.
Long-Term Running Goals:
My current goal is to hit the Olympic Trials Qualifying time in the marathon for the 2020 trials.
Reykjavik Marathon. I want to run with all of the Icelandic mountains as my backdrop.
Motivation When Hurting During a Race or Workout:
When I begin to feel tired during a race or workout and need to dig deep, I think of all the people - friends, family, coach, teammates who are out there supporting me and who have been a part of my journey to this point. I look at the past months of training and realize that the next few moments of pain are worth the months of training and to not let it go because my legs hurt.
Favorite Part of Being a DWRunner:
I feel like the DWRunning team is a big family. I feel connected with all of the athletes regardless of ability. The support that you get from everyone is indescribable.
Reward for a Good Race:
A lot of Mexican food, margaritas and a massage.
