Long-Term Running Goals:
I really want to improve my marathon PR and become a much more complete runner (strength, flexibility, speed). I would love to qualify for Boston but that is a real stretch goal. Topping my brothers marathon PR is another goal...
I ran a marathon in Washington, D.C. in March 2001 that ran through all four quadrants of the city. I met my wife during training and it also turns out that this was the only year for the DC marathon as it was cancelled the following year and ceased to exist.
Reward for a Good Race:
Beer. Sometimes coffee and then beer.
My Dad. He has powered through a number of marathons and qualified for Boston as a 60 year old
