5k: 22:50 (1st post kids run that was closer to my old times!) :)
I love anything from the 5k to the full marathon
In middle school (27 years ago), back in the day of non-skip CD players, cotton t-shirts and pre GPS where you had to drive routes before or after running them to verify distance.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Qualify for Boston and continue to have a solid running foundation to stay fit and be a healthy example for my three kids.
“If I could share a run with anyone, it would be…”:
2 people: 1. Kara Goucher, she is a mom, runner and successful business women. 2. Coach Potter, my high school coach. He believed in me and helped me find my true potential and love for running. He also helped me understand that running is more than a sport, it is an extension of your family. My 6 best friends today were teammates of mine in middle school.
Motivation when hurting during a race or workout:
Constantly reminding myself that today is a piece of the puzzle, putting in the effort today helps keep the overall puzzle (training plan) together.
Mountains or Ocean?:
