Primary Focus:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Give back by volunteering for Road Scholars, Back on My Feet, Girls on the Run or some organization like that.

To be able to run as long as possible; competitive goal post 60-year-old sub-four hour marathon and improve performance at 5k and 10k and other shorter distances.

The famous great runners, of course. I was at Oregon when Pre ran there. Joan Benoit Samuelson is a hero.. Meb.. Deena Kastor.

But really it's the people who aren't gifted natural runners, who persevere for whatever personal reason. Runners World features many of these individuals, but there are so many moving stories.

Favorite Run Location:

Eugene, Oregon and anywhere in Japan paths along various rivers up into hills (very similar terrain).

Favorite Part of Being a DWRunner:

Inspired by all the spirit of vibrant, welcoming, connected members.

Mountains or Ocean?:

Need big water, love the mountains. What's a girl to do?

Tea or Coffee?:

Early Bird or Night Owl?:

Early bird

Chocolate or Vanilla?:

Raspberry sherbert
