Primary Focus:

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to qualify for the 2020 Olympic Marathon Trials.

Motivation When Hurting During a Race or Workout:

When times get tough, I recite one simple line in my head. “Do more.”

Running Start:

I started running to get back into shape during my junior year of college. I was a competitive baseball player from the age of 4 all the way to my last day of high school. I chose not to play baseball in college, and focus on my studies. Running came into my life as a form of fitness and exercises. It quickly transformed into a passion. I still carried that competitive edge that I developed all throughout my time playing baseball. This competitive edge then turned my passion for running into a passion for racing.

Favorite Run Location:

The Chilean Lake District. It was incredible to run in the shadows of active volcanos!

Favorite Part of Being a DWRunner:

I always have questions and always want to talk running. Sometimes it is probably really absurd, but I really appreciate Dan's willingness to field my inquiries!

Mountains or Ocean?:

Virginia has both!

Tea or Coffee?:

Early Bird or Night Owl?:

Early bird, because of post-run cereal

Chocolate or Vanilla?:

Is cereal an option?

Bolded PRs are PRs run while training with DWRunning.
