Running to my best potential and seeing what happens along the way!
Motivation to Run:
I run because it is one of the only things that clears my mind. I use my time running to reflect and to destress from my hectic schedule. I run because I believe that I may have a talent in this sport and I don't think anyone should let their talents go to waste! If you never try you never know! I also love the community and great people you can meet while running. Running does not discriminate against any age or any walks of life. I have met so many great people through this sport and it has a way of building bonds like no other!
I found running after I was cut from the varsity lacrosse team. After working so hard to make the team, I did not want to throw away the strength and speed so I decided to give indoor track a try. The coach threw me in the mile and said that he wished I would have joined his team three years ago!
