Long-Term Running Goals:
My more immediate goal is to qualify for the Boston Marathon 2018. Beyond that I'd love to get myself the the point where each and every year I can compete and feel confident in my marathon racing. Ultimately getting under 2:30 for a marathon and being the top Vermonter at a Boston Marathon would be great.
Along with eating the same pre-race breakfast I always listen to the same music playlist that I made when I was 18. It is highlighted by Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" and Al Pacino's speech from Any Given Sunday.
Desired Runner to Share a Run With:
Emil Zatopek - Arguably the hardest working, proudest, most determined runner of all time...plus he won the 5k, 10k and Marathon in the same Olympics.
