Mile: 5:56, 5k: 20:10, 10k: 46:03, Marathon: 3:30
Hoping to get my mile and 5k times down this spring, and then possibly work on improving my marathon this fall.
Favorite Race Distance:
I didn't start running until my mid-20s, and only started racing track last year after focusing on marathons for about 7 years. Turns out I love short, fast races where I can go all out!
I had a blast running the Humboldt Mile last year. I had no idea what my mile time goal should be going into it, so I just ran like my hair was on fire and did a 5:57.
Favorite Run Location:
I like running as sightseeing when I am traveling. My favorite places have been running around the canals in Amsterdam and on the coastal trail in Big Sur where you can see whales breaching in the ocean.
Reward for a Good Race:
A Chicago style hot dog and a chocolate shake! (I am obsessed with Chicago hot dogs)
