Long Term Running Goals:
I want to improve at all the distances I race; however, the marathon is the distance where I think I have the most potential for growth. Ultimately, I would like to become a truly competitive masters runner.
I like to think that I find the positive side of all my races, but the Half Madness Half Marathon in 2017 is the one I'm proudest of. I had been having trouble with my right hamstring, had missed some training and went into it with low expectations. Despite a rolling course, I surprised myself with a PR.
Motivation to Run:
Running gives my life so much added purpose and dimension. It's also what makes me feel most human.
